INTACS Hi-Bay Warehouse Training Model
at the NEC

Recently INTACS was teamed up with Harting to demonstrate RFID technology using our Hi-Bay Warehouse model at the NEC.

There was a lot of interest in both the Hi-Bay Warehouse Training Model & how RFID can be utilised in such scenarios.

The Hi-Bay Warehouse Training model was controlled via a Siemens S7-1500 with a Siemens HMI also connected to provide an interactive & realistic Hi-Bay warehouse scenario.
The Harting Ha-VIS RF RF500 Reader was connected to a Siemens S7-ET200S to provide a connection for the RFID data.
For the whole setup a number of protocols were used, such as ProfiNet, Ethernet & RFID.
